Palo Mesa Pizza in Arroyo Grande

I have ordered from this place about 2 dozen times, they always get it right, they are always friendly, quick, and easy!

Simply the ONLY place for pizza in the 5Cities area ! They deliver, but it's worth the drive to pick it up. Be sure to try their Ken's Favorite.

Good pizza and friendly employees.

Very disappointed with this place. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and 45 min later I had to ask what happened. The girl at the counter said . We have been busy and had no idea what happened to my pizza. Some excuse about putting it somewhere and forgetting about it. She gave me the options to remake or refund me. But since my whole table was done eating I had not time for the remake. She was very unapologetic and I felt she should have offered to refund by drink as well since I never got my dinner. I hope someone works with their employees to show them how to treat customers. One Star only because there is no zero star option.

Staff was great and friendly. Owner came out and helped us choose a pizza. We got the mckalya. It was really good.

Tasty but PRICEY! Looked at their menu online which said $18.95 for the medium pizza I wanted. When I called in to order the total came to $24.95! WHOAH! I think it's been awhile since the website has been updated. The pizza was good, just make sure you have a wide enough plate because the toppings go everywhere when you pick up a slice.

It's really good pizza and calzones.

Pizza was good, there is not problem there. However the restaurant looks neglected, dirty, and unkept. The soda machine was dirty, the floor where the pizza was made was dirty, the bathroom was dirty. The woman who was running the cash register seemed uninterested like she didn't want to be there. It looks like this pizza restaurant just gave up and doesn't have pride in there restaurant anymore. I'm talking about the Arroyo Grande Mesa location.

Super nice guy. Yummy pizza and lovely fresh salad. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

I enjoy their pizza. They have a good 2 topping large pizza with cheese bread [like a small pizza with no sauce] and 2 liter special. I would eat there again and recommend it to a friend. A little pricy.

The pizza was not all that. Our pizza order got mixed up, we waited about 50 minutes for our pizza when we did receive it was burnt on the bottom. They did not compensate for the wait, they gave us another one which we waited another 40 minutes. We will definitely not be back. Do not recommend. I dont know how they won any awards!

Kinda over cooked food and took a long time and wasn't that tasty

Pizza is ok but not consistent. Some times crust is not cooked enough or to much.

too expensive for what you get. there are better options with better pricing on the area

There was one other family of 5 dinning in orher than our party 10. They forgot to put my order in. It wasn't until everyone was finished at pur table that I adked abour my order. They forgot to put it in. One of the orders in our group had burned pizza crust. We waited 45 minutes toppi get our food. No manager there to run the kitchen. They were in Kaos

Best pizza in the unites states. Proven by winning the pizza cook-off.Third place in the world.You CANNOT go wrong at Palo Mesa.The store on the Mesa also offers wood fired... Well worth it. You can also get wood fired in the Arroyo Grande village. Which takes their pizza to a whole new level!

Bacon was very good, crust kinda too dry and cracker like. Toppings kinda dry. Price a bit pricey. Cheese not that cheesy Don't get me wrong it is a pretty good pizza but just kinda missed the mark for me maybe spot on for someone else.

Found this place by accident. Read some reviews,decided to try it. Disappointing...not terrible, just didn't live up to the hype.Not quite sure what it was t hat I didn't like, but the crust is good.My brand new bride says we should give it another chance by trying a different pizza( we had a pepperoni,sausage and olive)...will probably try a different one next time to be fair

Good pizza, but nothing to write home about. Extremely expensive. Got the Hot Hawaiian, as well as the bacon-wrapped jalapeno appetizer: the jalapenos with both were not spicy whatsoever. The latter was delicious flavor-wise, but somewhat disappointing because of limp, flabby bacon. I do appreciate the lunch special for $7, which offers a small pizza with two toppings!

Super friendly staff in a really clean pizza restaurant. Everything looks and smells sanitary. I had the taco pizza, it was well executed but I wouldn't order it again. It just wasn't my cup of tea. The crust was great! Looking forward to my 2nd visit.

Palo Mesa is great.. Love the calzone for lunch. My family loves the Hawaiian with white sauce. The Hot Hawaiian on the menu is a little too spicy for us, so we just get a regular Hawaiian. We love the crust. Normally we get delivery, but every time we have gone in for pickup, everyone is friendly and happy. GREAT PLACE!! GIVE IT A TRY!!

The new pizza is great. Interesting combination of ingredients meld together perfectly and having no sauce the flavors are powerful. No surprise it tied for gold in an international competition.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had! Something about the cheese... its a thicker crust, which i like. Friendly staff too. Look forward to visiting again.

Pizza always burned when ask for thin crust, always soggy when regular crust with the greek pizza. Staff today had masks on but two girls not using masks properly. Been 4 months since last pizza during this pandemic and this was not a good experience. Today ordered large Greek thin crust, burned. Quality has dropped over last 4 years. Not recommended.

Palo mesa pizza is always a delightful pizza to eat A++++!! Fyi try a pizza with green olives. You won't be disappointed...keep up the great work palo Mesa.

The pizza is great but it really isn't worth the price, unless you want to impress someone on a date. If they decided to shave 3-4 dollars off then pizzas prices would be worth getting for yourself.

We are never disapointed with the pizza at Palo Mesa Pizza...Ken's Fav is what we always order.....but for sone reason this time they were extremely slow....the Pizza still great but super slow...

Normally have the pizza delivered, last few orders have been extremely under cooked and not up to the $ tag. Most recently ordered a large Margherita pizza, ended up paying extra for brown, wilted basil.Edit: I appreciate the reply and your offer... We've been getting pizza since you first opened and have been very happy with the quality for many years... it's only lately that we've ran into issues. How do I go about redeeming this voucher?

The Greek Pizza alone deserves 5 stars. The BW (buffalo) pizza was not very traditional and that is the only reason why I'm not giving them five stars. It was still a great pizza but just not what I was expecting or hoping for
